The North's biggest coffee festival, held each November at the BEC Arena in Trafford Park.
Manchester Coffee Festival calls itself the North's biggest coffee party, and it has the history to back it up. It began in 2014 as Cup North and has run under the Manchester name since, pausing only for the pandemic. It now spans 3 days each November at the BEC Arena in Trafford Park, a proper exhibition space a few miles out from the city centre.
The programme mixes a trade show and a maker's market with talks, panel discussions, cuppings and hands on workshops, plus free samples across the floor. Competitions include the festival's own latte art contest and the northern heats of the UK Filter Championships.
Since 2024 it has been run by Husky Events, the company behind the Brighton, Belfast and Dublin festivals, so it sits within a small family of regional shows rather than standing alone.
