They were the first company in Europe to offer single origin Swiss Water Process decaf coffee, and that remains their entire focus.
The roastery is based a mile from the sea in West Sussex. The range is deliberately narrow: seven decaf coffees and occasional guest lots, across origins including Ethiopia, Colombia, Guatemala, Brazil, Indonesia, Costa Rica, and Costa Rica.
The Swiss Water Process removes caffeine using water rather than chemical solvents, preserving more of the original flavour character. The business sells online and by subscription, and supplies wholesale.
