Ferrari's Coffee traces back to 1927, when Vittorio Ferrari settled in South Wales from Italy and built a following for his espresso blends. The business operated locally for decades until 2018, when Yash and Rakhi took over a struggling roastery and invested in a purpose-built facility.
That site, opened in 2021 on the Bridgend Industrial Estate, houses three Italian Trabattoni drum roasters with capacity of 4,000kg per day. The range pairs classic Italian blends, including the long-standing Piacentina, Siena, Mocha Italia and Cafe Classico, with 100% arabica, single-origin and decaf options.
Direct trade partnerships are in place with farmers in Brazil, Costa Rica, El Salvador and Uganda, with a stated aim to source all coffee directly by 2025. The roastery holds SALSA accreditation, is a Specialty Coffee Association member, and is a registered Real Living Wage employer.
Wholesale, point of sale and white label services are offered alongside the consumer range. The team are described as SCA-qualified baristas.
Based at 7 David Street, Bridgend, CF31 3SA.
