Ochils Coffee Roastery is on Solsgirth Home Farm near Dollar, at the foot of the Ochil Hills. It started in 2022 as a pop up cafe at monthly farm markets, founded by Stevie after more than thirty years as an NHS nurse, with the old farm stables converted into the roastery.
Coffees are named after the surrounding hills, and the range includes single origins from India, Brazil, Colombia, Guatemala and Uganda, a Mexican decaf, and two whisky barrel aged coffees from Islay and Speyside. Coffee is roasted in small batches on the farm.
The roastery is open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays for a coffee and a chat, dogs welcome on a lead. Wholesale supply goes to cafes, restaurants, hotels and offices across Scotland and the UK, with no minimum order, sample coffee first, and barista training included.
