Quarter Horse Coffee is an independent roaster based in the West Midlands. The business was founded in 2012 in Oxford and opened its Birmingham roastery and café in 2015, which it describes as the first of its kind in the city.

Operations have since expanded across three sites in the region. The team source green beans through international suppliers and direct trade relationships with producers at origin, including Sebastian Gomez of La Divisa in Colombia, alongside coffees from Uganda, Peru and El Salvador.

The range covers single origins, house blends and a QHC Club subscription with Plus and Premium tiers. Decaf is offered as a Peru Swiss Water Processed lot, and retail packaging is described as biodegradable.

Alongside roasting and wholesale, Quarter Horse runs barista masterclasses covering espresso, latte art and home brewing.
