Speyside Coffee was established in 2017 in Garmouth, Moray, initially in the old games room of the Garmouth Hotel before outgrowing the space and relocating next door to Kirk Cottage, where the roastery and cafe now operate together. Roaster Grant holds an Intermediate Coffee Roasting Certificate from the Specialty Coffee Association.

The decision to keep the range small rather than offering a wide variety of origins allows for tighter stock rotation and fresher coffee. The current line-up includes a Brazilian, a Colombian sugar cane process decaf scoring 85 cup points, and a Glen Moray whisky barrel-aged coffee, the latter an unusual product for a roastery of this size and location.

Free local home delivery runs on Tuesdays to Forres, Elgin, Lossiemouth, Cullen, Fochabers, and Buckie. Coffee professionals are invited to visit the roastery.
