Triple Co Roast

Triple Co Roast is an open-access specialty roastery in Bristol, founded in 2015 by Jo Thompson after two years studying coffee and roasting in Northern California. The business is built around three stated priorities: buying only specialty-grade green coffee, sourcing via direct trade with farmers, and maintaining close roaster-to-customer relationships.

The open-access model means anyone can visit the roastery and ask questions. Direct trade is not used loosely here.

Their sourcing approach centres on relationship-based buying with producers, which they argue results in higher premiums reaching farmers than conventional or certification-based models. They also offer machine rentals and leasing alongside wholesale supply.
