Two Chimps Coffee

Two Chimps Coffee is a specialty roaster based in Oakham, Rutland, founded in 2016 by Andy and Laura. The business is built around accessibility, with each order including a brew guide aimed at people new to specialty coffee as well as those already in it.

The roastery is Positive Planet certified carbon neutral and has set a Net Zero by 2040 target. Coffees are single origin from countries including Rwanda, Honduras, Brazil, India and South Sudan, and the company works with importers including Olam Specialty Coffee.

Bags are made from fully recyclable LDPE in a single material design, with metal clips replaced by eco-friendly glue dots. Two Chimps has picked up multiple regional honours including Environmental Champion 2024, Small Business of the Year 2024, and Silver and Gold wins at the Leicestershire Business Awards 2025.

The roastery hosts coffee workshops by appointment.
