VeliK Coffee

VeliK Coffee is a small family-run roastery based in Harpenden, Hertfordshire. The business grew out of home roasting, eventually graduating to a professional drum roaster once the founders decided to take it beyond a hobby.

Their focus is on single-origin Arabica coffees chosen for high cupping scores, and they have developed specific roast profiles for each origin rather than applying a house style across the range. One notable angle in their positioning is an explicit effort to appeal to tea drinkers.

Their lighter roasts are developed with the British tea tradition in mind, the idea being that people accustomed to delicate, nuanced flavours in tea can find similar qualities in well-roasted light coffee. They use biodegradable and compostable packaging and are powered by 100% renewable energy.
