Northern Ireland's first dedicated coffee festival, launching in October 2026.
Belfast Coffee Festival is new. Its first edition runs over 2 days in October 2026, billed as Northern Ireland's first dedicated coffee festival and a celebration of the region's specialty scene. It is run by Husky Events, the company behind the Brighton, Manchester and Dublin festivals, so it arrives with a tested format even if the event itself has no track record yet.
The venue is the reason to look twice. Carlisle Memorial is a Gothic Revival former Methodist church, built in 1875 and once grand enough to be called the Methodist Cathedral. It stopped holding services around 1980 and has been under restoration by the Belfast Buildings Trust for years.
As advertised, expect free samples from every exhibitor, the Northern Ireland heat of the UK and Ireland Filter Championships, cuppings, talks, workshops and live music. Bailies, a Belfast roaster, is among the named partners.
