Bean 14 is a Fairtrade-certified coffee roaster based on La Rue des Reines in Guernsey, with more than twenty years of experience sourcing and roasting green coffee on island. Run by managing director Chris Bader and a team of nine, the business roasts in purpose built premises and supplies hospitality, workplaces and retail across the Channel Islands with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, vending, tableware and managed office services.

Lead roaster Chi Indakwa fires the roaster on Green BioLPG supplied by Guernsey Energy, with plans to move to electric roasters powered by on site solar. Coffee is packed in CO2 neutral certified, recyclable PE4 bags, with 5kg bulk options to cut waste.

Deliveries run on renewably charged electric vehicles, and a donation to the Nature Commission is made on every kilo sold. The B2B trade shop runs on Unleashed, with full account access on request.
