Boona Boona started in a garden shed in Totterdown, Bristol, and has since moved to a 10kg Roastmax roaster in a commercial space in Staple Hill. They are an organic-certified roaster and donate 10% of profits to Avon Needs Trees, a charity focused on permanent woodland creation in the South West of England.

That 10% commitment is fixed and publicly stated, giving it more weight than typical vague environmental pledges. The brand leans into origin storytelling through packaging: each origin bag is illustrated to celebrate culture from the producing country.
