Caffeine Project is a coffee business in Binley Woods, on the edge of Coventry, that launched in 2018 as a small independent coffee distributor built around the vision of its founder Rafael. Rafael grew up in Mexico, studied culinary arts, and spent around a decade working for a major Italian coffee company before starting his own brand.
The business is now a family affair, run day to day by Rafael and his wife Lisa, and has grown into a coffee house in Binley Woods where visitors can watch the roasting process while having a coffee. The core range is a house blend called Boxha, a medium roast from Brazil and Honduras, alongside a single origin Colombian and a Mexican decaf.
Caffeine Project also supplies wholesale customers, offering coffee machine servicing, staff training, consultancy and quality auditing to coffee outlets, along with brewing equipment and machinery for sale.
