Cargo Coffee

Cargo Coffee is a speciality drive-thru cafe at 16C Belfast Road, Bangor, County Down, serving espresso drinks, fresh bagels, baked goods, catering and platters. The cafe sells its own in-house blend, called Cargo Coffee Roast, in whole bean across 150g, 250g, 500g and 1kg sizes, available online by one-off purchase or subscription.

The site is one of the few drive-thru formats in Northern Ireland to combine a working cafe with direct roast-to-door delivery. Customer reviews consistently flag it as among the best takeaway coffee in the area.

Cargo also runs a social responsibility programme, partnering with St Andrews Presbyterian Church foodbank and donating 30 per cent of online profits to Action Mental Health. It sits closer to a cafe with its own blend than to a dedicated roastery.
