Element Coffee

Element Coffee is an independent roastery and cafe based at 236 Northfield Avenue in Ealing, West London, which opened in March 2019. The business was fitted out by the founders themselves in under five weeks.

They roast specialty coffee with a deliberately accessible positioning, using an element-based labelling system to help customers choose without needing specialist knowledge. Each coffee in their range is named after a natural element and mapped to a brewing method, making the selection process intuitive for people new to specialty coffee.

They work on continuity of flavour within each element category, so that as individual lots rotate in and out, the character of each line stays consistent. Element supplies wholesale and sells subscriptions.
