Exchange Coffee Co. is a Lancashire roaster and tea merchant with coffee houses and roasting shops across Blackburn, Clitheroe, Skipton and Todmorden. The Clitheroe shop on Wellgate is the main address.
They roast in small batches, often to order, and run a wholesale operation that supplies espresso machines, barista training and engineer-led servicing as the North-West distributor for La Cimbali. In 2025 they won four Great Taste Awards, all 1-star, for Brazil Terra Preta, Uganda African Moon, Holmes Mill Blend and Timor Leste Samoro.
Holmes Mill Blend is served exclusively at James Places venues including Bowland Food Hall and the Waddington Arms. Exchange sources through NKG Bloom, a sustainability-focused green coffee programme, and partners with the Rainforest Alliance.
They also work with named producers including Omwani and Cal's Coffee.
