FINCA

FINCA is a Dorset-based specialty coffee roaster that grew out of a coffee shop opened in Dorchester in 2014. The founder took delivery of the first Genesis CBR1200 1kg roaster sold in the UK and roasted in-store during evenings.

The business now runs six specialty coffee shops across Dorset and Somerset, with locations in Dorchester (Great Western Road and South Street), Poundbury, Weymouth, Yeovil and Glastonbury, supplied by two dedicated roasteries in Dorchester. The roastery has scaled up over the years from the original CBR1200 to a 10kg Toper and a 20kg roaster.

FINCA only roasts SCA 80+ grade coffee and states that no roasting is outsourced. The Poundbury site also houses a bakery that supplies cakes and bread to the other shops.

Coffee is roasted to order and dispatched every Tuesday and Friday, with whole bean or bespoke grind options available online.
