Pelicano Coffee Roasters

Pelicano Coffee Roasters is a speciality coffee roaster with four cafes across Brighton. It opened in 2014 on Sydney Street in Brighton's North Laine, founded by Zephir Thomas and Sol Lee, with branding drawn in part from Sol's Korean heritage and Brighton's creative culture.

Every batch is roasted in house at the roastery on Preston Street. The range includes single origin coffees from Burundi, Colombia and Brazil, a Smokey Bird espresso blend, a seasonal blend called The Grindstone, and a Brazilian decaf called Happy Capybara.

Wholesale and white label services are offered to other businesses, including custom branding, packaging, and beans roasted to order, alongside training and guidance for wholesale partners. The cafes are also available for private hire.
