Andes Project

Andes Project is a small roastery in Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes, built around Venezuelan coffee, a producing country that rarely reaches the British market. The team describe their work as studying, sourcing, roasting and showcasing the best Venezuelan coffee they can find, beans they characterise as having beaten the odds to get here.

It is a small operation. Gaby, from Venezuela, runs everything behind the scenes, and Ross handles the roasting.

A monthly subscription sends 200g of a different Venezuelan coffee, roasted on the first of the month and capped at a small number of subscribers, favouring rare lots and high cupping scores. The range extends to other Latin American origins, including a sugarcane processed Colombian decaf from Finca Nogales in Huila.

Wholesale and green bean enquiries are both welcomed, which is unusual at this size and suggests real confidence in the sourcing relationships. Coffee ships in recyclable resealable bags with a degassing valve.
