Phil and the team run this independent, family-owned roastery from a farm unit in Peppard Common, near Henley-on-Thames in South Oxfordshire. They are a Living Wage employer and are working towards B Corp certification.

Through a Greenspark partnership, each retail purchase funds reforestation and plastic waste removal. Spent coffee grounds and chaff go to local growers rather than landfill.

Sourcing is traceable to the producer, with some coffees purchased via direct trade and all priced well above market rate. Origins include Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Honduras, Papua New Guinea, Guatemala, and Rwanda.

Their coffee is served at Roost on the 14th floor of Thames Tower in Reading, which is also where they have a cafe presence. They also appear at pop-ups and markets, sell online, supply wholesale, and offer barista training and equipment.
