Jericho Coffee Traders started in Oxford in 2009 when founders James and Lizzie bought a turquoise Vespa tuk-tuk and decided to put a coffee machine on the back of it. The business has since grown into a roastery and cafe at the Oxford Eco Centre on Osney Mead, a flagship cafe at 105 High Street, and a Royal Albert Hall cafe in London.

The team also runs an online subscription that ranked 3rd in the Lightning 50 Top UK eCommerce companies, plus a coffee school offering barista training and enthusiast courses. Beans cover a range of speciality origins including Brazil, Colombia, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Burundi, El Salvador, Kenya and Peru, with single origins, blends, charity coffees and a Grand Cru range.

Decaf options use the sugar cane process, and Nespresso compatible pods are compostable. The signature tuk-tuk is still wheeled out for local events.

Trade customers are supplied through a wholesale channel, and the founders remain involved in running the business.
