Phil and a small team run this independent, family-owned specialty roaster from a unit at Manor Farm in Peppard Common, near Henley-on-Thames in South Oxfordshire. Sourcing is traceable to producer level, with direct trade alongside cooperative partners including Daterra in Brazil, Coope Dota in Costa Rica, Finca Liquidambar in Honduras, Kongo in Papua New Guinea, Fedecocagua in Guatemala and Kinini in Rwanda.

They pay well above market rate, use Swiss Water decaf, and cup blends alongside single origins. They are a Living Wage employer working towards B Corp certification, with CO2 compensated bags, certified compostable cups and recyclable mailers.

The roastery welcomes visitors weekday mornings and Saturday mornings, and their coffee is served at Roost on the 14th floor of Thames Tower in Reading. They also sell online, supply wholesale, run pop ups and offer barista training.
