Ascapart Coffee is a small batch roastery based in Southampton, roasting out the back of the Mettricks cafe bar in Portswood. Coffee is roasted in five kilogram batches on a Probat roaster and used in the Mettricks cafes as well as sold online.

Head roaster Wilson is a qualified Q grader, one of just over 100 in the UK, and a qualified Specialty Coffee Association trainer. The range covers single origin coffees from Brazil, Ethiopia, Kenya, Peru and Rwanda, alongside a filter blend and a roaster's choice blend.

A sugarcane process decaf from Ethiopia is also available, along with coffee pods sold under the Mettricks Blend name. Customers can buy beans through the online shop, join a subscribe and save scheme for regular deliveries at a ten per cent discount, or enquire about wholesale supply.

The site states that coffee is sourced for quality, sustainability and flavour to the same standards used in the cafes.
