Brazier Coffee Roasters was founded in 2015 by Tom and Claire Brazier, who developed the idea while in Australia and trained with Australian roasters before launching in Somerset. They roast on a Giesen machine at Fox's Tonedale Mill, a Victorian textile mill complex in Wellington, with a second site at Westpark in Chelston.
Coffee is roasted to order, degassed for 48 hours and dispatched within two to three days. The range covers specialty blends, single origins, organic coffee, decaf and Nespresso pods, with single origins traceable to farm.
Featured partnerships include Papua New Guinea Elimbari for the 2025 season. The roastery describes itself as ethically sourced and says farmers are paid fairly, with the UK team paid above the living wage.
Brazier published an Impact Report for 2024 and states it is working towards greener supply and production methods. The Tonedale Mill site includes a café and bakery, and Brazier also runs coffee courses and a wholesale programme.
