Carrara Coffee Roasters roasts speciality single origins and blends in the rural town of Market Harborough, with roasting recipes and cupping done in house. The name Carrara is an old family name passed down from roots in Lucca, Tuscany, to Market Harborough, and the business was established in 2008.
The range includes house coffees, seasonal coffees, single origin lots from countries including China, Kenya, Guatemala, Burundi, Uganda, Nicaragua and India, and a decaffeinated blend called Sereno. There is a women's collective coffee called Sorella.
Alongside coffee sales, Carrara runs barista masterclasses and sells equipment, including bundles and accessories, and offers equipment maintenance and servicing. A wholesale offer is available for other businesses, and BRCGS food safety certification is among its accreditations.
Orders ship from the roastery at Airfield Business Park in Market Harborough, with free delivery on orders over £30.
