Coffee roasters in Leicestershire

Leicestershire has 4 independent coffee roasters, with Leicester city at the centre (Leicester Coffee House on a Probat Probatino, Northern Cobbler from Clarendon Park) and rural operations at Great Glen (St Martins Coffee Roasters, family owned, full service supplier) and Market Harborough (Well Roasted Coffee, on the Welland Valley border with Northamptonshire). Northern Cobbler was founded in 2010 by Feroza and Steffan, two friends who began their careers in the footwear industry before turning to specialty coffee during international travel.

Leicester city is the easiest visitor stop. The rural roasters reward longer drives: Pennbury Farm (St Martins) sits east of the city, and the Northamptonshire border (Well Roasted Coffee at Eckland Lodge) extends into the Welland Valley.
