Conscious Speciality is run by Culainn and Lea, who began working alongside coffee producers in South America in 2021 and have since built direct relationships with smallholder producers and community projects in Peru, Bolivia and Colombia.

The business publishes the price paid for each coffee, and for direct purchases also the costs of getting it from origin to the roastery, including milling, exporting and shipping. One long standing partner is Collective Bean, run by Cynthia and Alberto in Peru.
Coffee is roasted on a Giesen W15A drum roaster. The range includes house espressos, rotating single origin coffees, and a Colombian Caña decaf processed using the sugarcane based decaffeination method, available as a subscription.
A wholesale service offers bespoke blends, equipment sourcing and support, and staff training for cafes and other businesses.
