Cuckfield Coffee Co. was founded in 2021 by Paul and Nardine, a couple who left previous careers to set up an independent specialty roastery in West Sussex. They roast at The Coffee Barn, an industrial unit at Horsted Keynes Business Park in Cinder Hill, near Cuckfield.
Paul leads roasting and production while Nardine runs day-to-day operations and sustainability. The range covers four blends, Wake Up, Move, Create, and Indulge decaf, alongside single origins from Colombia, Guatemala, and Papua New Guinea.
Green beans are bought through Cafe Imports, which focuses on smallholder partnerships, price premiums, and traceability. Coffee is packed in recyclable Maxilla EcoMax bags with NoIssue labels, and the team displays the Eco-Packaging Alliance sticker.
The roastery was named Best Fresh Coffee Roastery at the 2025 awards and is part of the Sussex Six local supplier programme. The business sells online with free national delivery over thirty pounds, runs subscriptions in 250g or 1kg sizes, and supplies wholesale.
