Curious Roo is a specialty coffee roaster and wholesale supplier based at 11 Power Road, Chiswick, west London. Founders Edwin and Magda spent a year in Uganda before launching the business at 2 British Grove, where they roasted for seven years on a small Diedrich IR-12.

In 2024 they moved into a converted former scuba diving centre on Power Road, fitted out largely by the founders. Production now runs on a Loring S35 smart roaster, which cuts fuel use by up to 80 per cent.

Coffees come from Brazil, Colombia, Peru and Uganda, sourced via importers including CafiNet and Langdon. The decaf is a Colombian Castillo and Caturra processed using sugarcane ethyl acetate.

Wholesale spans coffee supply, equipment rental and sale, white label production and training delivered through the in-house Artisan Coffee School, led by head of training Peter alongside head of coffee Kasia and wholesale manager Kiki. Sustainability initiatives include a reusable Bucket List delivery system, recyclable packaging with compostable labels, and the More Than a Dent charity supporting community projects.
