Dnisi Coffee Company

Dnisi is an independently owned Scottish family coffee and bakehouse brand founded in Kirkintilloch in 2004. The business now operates seven cafes across Scotland, with sites in Kirkintilloch, Hamilton, Shawlands, Bathgate, Alloa, Stranraer and The Centre Livingston.

Coffee is roasted in-store at each location, with a House Blend and Decaf House Blend as the everyday range, supported by a rotating Guest Coffee series spotlighting single origins from Costa Rica, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Brazil and Colombia. Beans are sold whole or ground, and the brand recently introduced its own coffee pods.

Alongside coffee, Dnisi is known for hand-baked scones, sweet treats and a loyalty card programme, with online ordering for delivery or collection. It sits in a hybrid category.

The retail estate and food offer are the core of the business, while the roasting sits inside the hospitality operation rather than as a standalone roastery brand.
