Echelon Coffee Roasters is a small specialty roaster founded in 2018 in Leeds, operating from Unit 20 at Penraevon Industrial Estate in LS7. Run by founder Ben, the roastery focuses on light-profile specialty coffees sourced through ethical importers, with full traceability down to individual households and smallholders.

The current line-up spans single origins from Rwanda (Gaseke), Costa Rica (Aquiares Estate), Kenya (Kii AA), Ethiopia (Lalesa) and Peru (Pedro Padilla), alongside a house blend called Esprechelon XI. Coffee is supplied wholebean and dispatched twice weekly.

The business sells primarily through a flexible subscription service offering free delivery, choice of frequency and brew method, with one-off retail and a wholesale arm also available. Echelon does not run a cafe.
