Flaming Bean Coffee

Flaming Bean Coffee Roastery is a small Cheshire micro-roaster run by Steve and Karen, founded in 2012. Steve trained with the London School of Coffee and has spent around a decade behind the roaster, while Karen looks after marketing, administration and finance.

The pair source the majority of their green coffee from farms working to organic principles and paying farmers above fair-trade rates, with Fairtrade lots imported directly from growers so the price reaches the producer in full. Named partners include Maganjo in Kenya, Burka Mondul Estate in Tanzania and Kateshi Estate, alongside Ethiopian Yirgacheffe and Sidamo.

Shade-grown coffees feature on the menu for their biodiversity and bird-friendly credentials. Orders run through the website, with contact direct to Steve or Karen by phone or email.
