Forge Valley Roasters

Forge Valley Roasters is a family run speciality coffee roaster based in Scarborough, on the North Yorkshire coast. It was founded in 2023 by Chris and Tash, who met over 15 years ago and eventually settled on the North York Moors.

Chris leads roasting and operations, drawing on years in retail and hospitality, while Tash, an SCA certified barista with a design background, oversees the brand, marketing and retail products. They are a Champion Producer of the North York Moors.

Alongside roasted coffee, they run a brew bar at Huntriss Row and a kitchen and bakery at The Hillyard in Wykeham, offer roastery tours, coffee tastings and barista training, and sell coffee equipment. Coffees include single origin beans from Colombia and Brazil, plus a sugarcane processed decaf.
