Ginger Monkey Coffee Roasters is a family owned coffee shop in Chester with its roastery just outside the city in Barrow, run by husband and wife team Cal and Hayley. They opened their coffee shop doors in December 2020 and moved from brewing to roasting their own beans in October 2021.
The coffee shop on Christleton Road serves food, brunch and speciality coffee in a family and dog friendly setting, and the business has won a Taste Cheshire award. Beans are sourced from origins including Mexico, Uganda, Brazil, Ethiopia and Peru, roasted as both single origins and blends, and the range includes a Mexican decaf.
Alongside retail sales and a coffee subscription, Ginger Monkey supplies wholesale coffee, commercial coffee machines and barista training to cafes, restaurants, hotels, offices and other businesses across Cheshire and beyond.
