Lindfield Coffee Works was founded in 2015 in Lindfield, West Sussex and has grown into a multi-site operation with a flagship cafe at 70 High Street, a roastery and training space outside the village, and a wholesale network supplying over 30 hospitality venues. Roasting is done in small batches on Giesen equipment, with a current line-up that spans single origins from Brazil, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Guatemala and Uganda alongside four house blends and an Ethiopian decaf.
Two of the supply relationships are direct trade partnerships with farms in Colombia, and the business reports paying partner farmers an additional £4,000 above market price to reinvest in farm infrastructure and coffee quality. Training sits at the heart of the model, with structured barista, latte art and tasting courses for both in-house teams and wholesale partners, alongside roastery tours.
Stated values centre on quality, community, care, teamwork and ownership, with the ambition of becoming a recognised hospitality training centre in the South East.
