Milk and Beans describes itself as the first speciality coffee roaster in Milton Keynes. The range is deliberately short, a house coffee called Concrete Cowboy alongside rotating single origins that currently include a Colombia El Carmen, a Rwanda Kilimbi and a Brazil Mio Donevi.

Green coffee comes through the importer Raw Material, and the product pages carry the sourcing story in unusual depth. The El Carmen lot traces to producer groups around Pitalito in Huila representing close to 300 families, part of a programme Raw Material set up after finding that farmers could reach the speciality market but had no stable price to build on.

Roasting and dispatch run to a fixed weekly rhythm, with orders placed before 8am on a dispatch day going out the same day. Beans can be collected in person, and anyone collecting or buying in store gets a free cup of coffee.

Wholesale supply is available, and the shop extends to branded cups and merchandise.
