Monmouth Coffee

Monmouth Coffee is a long-standing London independent that has been roasting and retailing from its Covent Garden shop since 1978. The business now runs three retail sites, the original at 27 Monmouth Street, a counter at 2 Park Street next to Borough Market, and a roastery and retail space at 3 to 4 Dockley Road in Bermondsey, with the working roastery itself sited at Arch 3 on the Discovery Estate.

Coffee is sourced from single farms, estates and cooperatives, with the team aiming to establish direct relationships with growers and exporters. Current counter offerings name producers including Cooperativa Incahuasi, Silverio Nina, Ivan Faria Santiago and Henry Rojas, and span Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia and Costa Rica.

Wholesale customers across cafes, restaurants and hotels are supported by a dedicated training team running barista classes, brew support and trouble-shooting. The retail focus is on single origin coffees with detailed tasting and processing notes for each lot.
