Mont58 Coffee is a certified B Corporation based in South-East London, founded by husband-and-wife team Shai and Maya. The business began with a 250g home roaster in a garden shed in South-East London and grew through community deliveries before moving roasting production to a larger facility in Ashford, Kent.
It now runs two retail sites in South-East London, at 134 Kirkdale in Sydenham and the Corbett Library coffee hut in Catford. The business is a Living Wage Employer and a member of the Guild of Fine Food, with Great Taste Awards and a Taste of Kent win to its name.
Beans are traceable to growers through micro-lots and cooperatives, with many lots Rainforest Alliance and Organic certified. Packaging is compostable or recyclable, and the team delivers at least 70 percent of B2C orders by bicycle.
Spent coffee grounds go to local gardeners and surplus stock is offered through Too Good To Go.
