Notes Roastery

Notes is a London coffee business co-founded in 2010, with co-founder Fabio building close ties with producers who practise sustainable farming. Roasting takes place at Unit 2 Blackwall Trading Estate in E14, supplying a network of cafes and bars across the capital alongside an online shop, subscription and wholesale channels.

The programme leans on single-origin specialty coffee, seasonally sourced from sustainable farms and roasted in small batches. Filter and espresso versions of each coffee are offered, with a Colombian decaf from El Paseo farm in Buesaco, Nariño on the line-up.

Notes also runs a Nespresso-compatible coffee pod range described as 100% home compostable. The cafes pair coffee with seasonally inspired food, craft beers, wines and cocktails, giving the brand a hospitality footprint as well as a roasting one.
