Owens Coffee roasts at The Roastery in Endsleigh, Ivybridge, Devon. Every coffee is certified organic and Fairtrade, and the company sources from named cooperatives rather than generic origins: KOPEPI Ketiara in Sumatra, APROCOYCE in Peru, AMPROCAL in Honduras, COOPAFSI in El Salvador, Twongerekawa Coko in Rwanda and ANEI in Colombia.

The site highlights women-led cooperatives in Peru and Rwanda. Roasting is done on a Loring S35 Kestrel, which the company says uses up to 80% less gas than conventional drum roasters.

The Gara blend has earned a 2-star Great Taste Award. Decaf is processed using the Swiss Water method, which is solvent-free.

The on-site roastery café (Perfect Waves Café) is open to the public Monday to Saturday and on Sundays, with free parking and dog-friendly seating. Owens also runs a coffee academy offering barista training, alongside a subscription service and a wholesale programme.

The business trades as South Devon Roasters Ltd.
