Rebel City Roasters takes its name from Nottingham's history of fighting power and corruption, tying its speciality grade coffee to the stories and music of the rebels it names and celebrates. Still getting going, it roasts great quality beans to order and is unfussy about how customers brew, from bean to cup machines and cafe setups to aeropress, pour over, moka pot or cafetiere.

The Byron is a Brazilian single estate coffee from the Alta Mogiana subregion, naturally processed and roasted medium dark, giving chocolate, apple, hazelnut and dried fruit notes. Street Tuff is a dark roasted blend that adds Vietnamese Robusta to speciality Arabica for extra intensity.

The company donates £1 to a local charity for every kilo of coffee sold, and also runs a commercial sales route for cafes and businesses.
