Ristretto Coffee is a Northern Ireland specialty roaster founded in 2006 and based in Banbridge, County Down. The team roasts on a 60kg Giesen with afterburner technology and focuses on specialty coffee sourced largely through direct trade with growers across Central America, South America and East Africa.

Origins include Nicaragua, Guatemala, El Salvador, Brazil, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, with named farms such as La Cascada, Finca El Tambor, Finca El Carmen and Mt Elgon Manafwa. The wholesale programme covers roasted coffee, barista training, equipment and ongoing support, alongside an online shop and gift subscription.

Packaging is moving towards fully recyclable or compostable, with 1kg espresso bags already recyclable and a used-bag collection service for trade clients. Hessian sacks are passed on to local residents for gardening and craft.
