Rockhopper Roaster is a micro-roastery founded by Kate, a one-person operation that started in Bognor Regis and has since expanded to a larger roastery in Littlehampton, West Sussex. Kate selects, roasts, bags and ships every order personally, with the business built around making speciality coffee accessible to home drinkers alongside a wholesale offer.
The current range draws from a small group of named producers: Finca Casa de Piedra in Costa Rica, Rubens Correa in Brazil, Las Gaviotas and El Buho (decaf) in Colombia, Tigst Boru in Ethiopia, Iwan Putra in Sumatra and Puebla Microlots in Mexico. A curated set of women-produced coffees is available as a duo set.
The wholesale programme has no minimum order quantity and includes cuppings, machine calibration and technique support. Coffee of the Month subscriptions and 12-month gift subscriptions round out the offer.
