Square Mile Coffee

Square Mile Coffee Roasters was founded in 2008 in East London by James Hoffmann and Anette Moldvaer, both former World Barista Champions. That pedigree shows in everything they do.

The roasting is precise, the sourcing is meticulous, and the coffee is consistently among the best in the country. They buy from a tight network of producers they have worked with for years, and they roast light enough to let the origin character come through without losing sweetness or body.

The subscription service rotates seasonally and they are one of the few UK roasters where both the filter and espresso offerings are equally strong. Their wholesale programme supplies some of London's most respected cafes.
