The Coffee Factory is a family run roastery on the Devon and Dorset border, founded by Danny and Justine after they returned from travels in Australia and opened a coffee bar in Axminster. Roasting is done by Danny on Dorothy, a restored 22kg 1950s Probat fitted with modern controls, and the business has moved several times before settling deep in the countryside.
The team works with importers focused on full traceability and farms paid above Fairtrade rates, with classic roasts graded against the SCA scoring system at 82 points or higher. The range covers standing blends, rotating single origins, and home compostable Nespresso compatible pods that have won a Great Taste Award.
Coffee is sold online through one off orders, the Roasters Club subscription, and a separate wholesale portal, with packaging across the range presented as 100 percent recyclable.
