Little Birdie Coffee is a small batch roaster based in Alyth, rural Perthshire, founded after the owner first encountered fresh coffee while travelling in Papua New Guinea and began experimenting with stovetop roasting before bringing the practice back to Scotland. Alongside coffee from origins including Brazil, Colombia, India and Indonesia, the range covers whole leaf teas and hot chocolate, positioning the business as a wider speciality drinks supplier.

The roastery has built a strong awards record, with a Great Taste win in 2023, Best Product at the Speciality Food and Drink Show in Glasgow in 2024, a 2 Star Great Taste Award in 2025 for the Tartan Coffee blend, and a Scottish EDGE Award supporting roasting expansion. Packaging is 100 percent recyclable, teabags are home compostable, and used coffee sacks are repurposed locally.
