It supplies hospitality, leisure and commercial customers across the UK with coffee, tea, machines, servicing and an operational consultancy that audits coffee operations for profitability.
Beans are roasted by convection in a fluid bed roaster, which the company describes as one of only four in the UK, producing an even roast and higher yield. Its signature Original Grand Cru blend, developed in 1995, combines Kenyan AA, Brazilian Minas Gerais and Honduran arabicas, and the company says its coffee is poured in 11 Michelin-starred restaurants and over 20 five-star hotels.
Cafe Du Monde is a licensed Fairtrade Foundation distributor and works with the Rainforest Alliance, has moved ground coffee and 1kg bags to fully recyclable packaging, and is the UK distributor for Newby Teas of London.
