Caffe Ginevra is the UK arm of a Sicilian coffee business founded by Massimino Ginevra in Caltanissetta in 1923. The UK operation launched in 2010 and is now run by his granddaughter, Laura Ginevra, from a base at 50 Front Street in Prudhoe, Northumberland.
Coffee is roasted to order in Sicily and shipped to the UK every few weeks, so the company is an importer rather than a UK roaster. The range covers four house blends including Miscela Silver, Miscela Selezionata, Bianco Blend and the locally themed Prudhoe Blend, alongside moka pots, barista equipment and Moretto drinking chocolate.
The team also runs a small group of Ginevra espresso bars across Tyneside, Teesside and Northumberland, with the original Prudhoe site holding a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence from 2015. Free postage applies to all UK orders.
