Django Coffee Co. is a Manchester-based specialty roaster founded after its founder returned from five years of travel, including an extended period in Melbourne where he became immersed in that city's coffee scene. The business was set up to bring Melbourne-influenced specialty coffee to the UK, with an explicit interest in connecting customers to the countries and cultures where coffee is grown.
Django focuses on single-origin arabica scoring 84+, roasted on a Giesen W15A named Anna in small batches kept light and never beyond a medium profile. Sourcing emphasises fair pricing, safe labour conditions and sustainable production, with current origins spanning Brazil, Burundi, Colombia, Uganda, Kenya, Democratic Republic of Congo, Costa Rica and Ethiopia.
One tree is planted per order through One Tree Planted, primarily in South America and the Amazon Rainforest. Subscriptions are the main commercial focus, with over 1,400 verified five-star reviews.
