Forge Coffee Roasters is a Sheffield roastery on Don Road, sat on Newhall Road near where the Forge Inn once stood. Established in 2015, it draws its identity from the city's steel and forging heritage and roasts on a Giesen, with an Ikawa used to develop sample profiles.
The coffee programme runs to four blends, Invicta, Ruskin, Kropp and the Trinity decaf, alongside single origins from Guatemala, Rwanda, Ethiopia and Colombia. Named producer relationships include Don Higinio at Las Moritas, the KCRS women's cooperative in Rwanda, the Dumerso washing station with the Birhanu sisters in Ethiopia, and Luis Anibal Calderon in Colombia.
Decafs cover an MC-processed Brazilian and a sugarcane-process Popayan. Alongside coffee, Forge runs an equipment service operation for commercial machines, backed by an in-house engineering team and an ISO 9001 quality certificate.
The business positions itself as a quality-led independent serving both retail and trade customers across the city and beyond.
